Eternal Echoes
The photo series Eternal Echoes – A Dance of Dualities is a visual exploration of inner fragmentation and the simultaneous harmony of opposites that exist within every human being. It unfolds at the intersection of travel and self-reflection, between the external world and inner perception.
During my journeys, the images were captured in moments of stillness within movement—fleeting scenes framed between presence and transience. These photographic fragments were later digitally processed, allowing new layers of perception to emerge: memories, emotions, and imagination intertwine and transcend the purely documentary nature of the photographs.
Each image carries its own paragraph-length text—thoughts, impressions, and inner voices that arose in the moment of reflection. Read individually, they stand as personal meditations. When brought together, however, they reveal a poetic structure: a continuous poem that serves as the accompanying text for the series.
In this way, a dialogue emerges between image and language, fragment and whole, duality and unity. Eternal Echoes invites the viewer not to resolve these tensions, but to recognize them as part of their own being—an ongoing dance of opposites.
Standing at the edge,
Arms wide open,
Gazing in your direction,
Toward the abyss.In a whirlwind of wild emotion,
A dance of hearts in storm and blaze.
Feelings ablaze like an ocean,
Full of longing and boundless courage.A call through the vastness, far and near,
Alluring and warning all at once.
A song of loyalty and hope, yes,
Through space and time, an eternal play.Yet also a veil, dark and cold,
Spun of lies and drunken haze.
Lost in the mist, where truth unfolds,
Until the wisdom of the mind begins.A play of contrasts, so endlessly vast,
Between fire and ice, light and darkness.
Yet in this dance of duality,
We find ourselves in eternity.
